My name is Ferzana, and I have a Bachelors degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Simon Fraser University and Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling Psychology. I am a licensed Psychotherapist in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia.
Here’s a little about me: I am extremely invested in supporting individuals feel comfortable in their own skin. Feeling safe and connected, is, in my opinion a basic human necessity if we’re going to get all we want from life to thrive. So, my goal is to ensure you reach your goals by providing gentleness, warmth, compassion, curiosity, and a sprinkle of humor. I am dedicated in being truthful with you and working with you at your pace. My intention is to honor your experiences and history and hold space for you where I can truly see you in a safe, non-judgemental environment. I hope to support you in your personal journey of discovery and healing as well as celebrating your unique gifts.
I am extensively trained in Mental Health, Addictions and Somatic Embodiment, I have the understanding to support you where you are and focus on your strengths. I can offer you tools that will foster mind and body connections as well as undo the sense of aloneness through breathwork and visualizations. My personal journey has made use of many of these same tools, and I am confident they will help you too.
